The House
Blue Horizon Hotel
About this item
With a name like "Blue Horizon" many first-time-comers to this "Gem" on the popular south coast of Barbados, may expect to see a hotel the colour of the island's brilliant blue skies.
In fact, the hotel's name was inspired by the breathtaking picture presented by the sky as it cast its reflection on the crystal clear waters of the Rockley Beach which is just across from the hotel. The meeting of the sky and ocean create a horizon of every shade of blue. This is the vision after which the hotel is named.
The hotel itself is just 15 minutes away from the Grantley Adams International Airport, nestled in lush, Caribbean foliage. Its welcoming, family-oriented environment, offers a pleasant haven from the stresses of today's world. For more intense rhythms, try a night out to the nearby party spots. From its privileged location, the Blue Horizon offers you easy access to public transportation, shopping and dining.
